This week on The Bachelorette, Andi and her 13 guys travel to Connecticut to take advantage of what the New England countryside has to offer. She wore a Minnie Rose Cashmere Fringe Shawl ($308), sold-out Theory Datyah Amazing Wool & Cashmere-Blend Biker-Style Coat, and DSTLD Low Rise Skinny Jeans in Dusk ($65):
The guys are excited to be at the fabulous Mohegan Sun resort and Dylan gets the first one-on-one date card. It reads “Our relationship is picking up steam.” We also find out that Dylan grew up in Massachusetts so it is sort of his hometown. For the date, Andi wore a sold-out Sandro coat and the Sam Edelman Over-the-Knee Kayla boot ($284.95). This Andrew Marc Combat Twill Button-Down Coat ($155.92) is similar and these Carlos Santana Marina Womens Boots ($60) would make a great look for less:
They take a ride on a steam train, and as the daughter of someone who worked in the railroad business all of his life, I was thrilled they included this on their date.
Back at the hotel, the group date card comes for JJ, Chris, Andrew, Eric, Nick, Marquel, Cody, Tasos, Brian, Patrick, Josh. It reads “Who’s got game?”
For the dinner date, Andi wears a sold-out Rebecca Taylor Novelty Textured Insert Jacket. This Kenneth Cole New York Peggy Jacket ($64.99) is similar:
Dylan really opened up to Andi on this date and told her the story of his siblings. This was so sad and my heart hurt for him. I am the nurturing type so my reaction to that story would have been to be his shoulder to cry on. I’m not sure if that is Andi’s personality, so I’m not sure how far Dylan will go in this process. Dylan gets the rose for the evening, but I’m not sure what sort of connection they have.
Andi could not have been more excited for the basketball group date. Men getting sweaty really got her going. The guys had to play against some WNBA players and then they split up into teams and played against each other for extra time with Andi. Andi was sporty chic with a sold-out IRO Ashville Perfecto Jacket ($780), ALC Getty Top ($264), Ash Bowie sneaker ($136.99), and a Peggy Li Large Berber Pendant Necklace ($59).
For a similar look for less, this Calvin Klein Faux Leather Moto Jacket ($56.99), Pleated Crepe Woven Blouse ($14.80) and Skechers Women’s Plus 3 High Sparkler Fashion Sneakers ($57.54) are perfect:
After the game, Andi took the winning team Rosebuds out for some drinks. She wore an Alice + Olivia Layne Fitted Leather Dress ($1147). This MinkPink Above You Dress is a similar look for less ($89.99):
Andi had some one-on-one time with Eric on this date basically to tell him that they weren’t really meshing. He was relieved because he felt the same way and they were able to clear the air and share some details about his family life with her. It was so nice to hear that he was able to take a trip to visit all of his family members before he came on the show and how well he spoke of his family. I’m glad they were able to show this part of their date.
Andi wore the Kiki Designs Smokin’ Diamonds Ring ($115):
During her time with Brian, he was able to shoot a half-court shot on the basketball court and Andi was literally panting over him. That was his moment to kiss her but he totally blew it. He ended up get the group date rose, so she must want to see more.
Marcus has the final one-on-one date with Andi. The date card said “The sky’s the limit.” Andi reveals that she is afraid of heights, but wants to face her fear by rappelling down the Mohegan Sun with Marcus. Girl is crazy!
I was really impressed by Marcus on this date though. He was terrified himself, but was great at distracting Andi and helping her to get through the experience. That is a great quality to have in a husband, so that gave him points in my book.
After they are scared out of their minds, they get to have dinner, because who has an appetite after that? Andi wears Mother+Freja the Muse Hot Ticket leather pants ($147), Halston Heritage Ruffle Cap Sleeve Top ($227.50), Theory Wool Biker Jacket ($430) and Brooklyn Designs Harper Earrings ($35).
To get the look for less try these Halston Heritage Skinny Faux-Leather Pants ($120) and Michael Kors Moto Wool Jacket ($161.99). I found a few different ruffle shirt options, the first is this Ruffled Sleeve Woven Shirt from Forever 21 ($14.80) in a similar color and the second is this Joe Fresh Ruffle Sleeve Blouse from JCP ($29):
Andi goes ahead and gives Marcus the rose early on in the dinner then the get a special concert from Jon Pardi.
Before the rose ceremony, Andi receives a letter from a secret admirer. It wasn’t revealed who the admirer is yet, but I think it’s sort of sweet for her to get love notes and flowers. These boys are supposed to be wooing her. She is wearing a green blouse to relax in her room. This Worthington Long-Sleeve Button-Front Blouse gets you the same look for only $17.99:
The cocktail party was bittersweet this week. As we know, Eric Hill has since passed away and it was unfortunate that they ended their relationship on that note. I think it was very clear that whatever attraction they had on the first date had passed and Eric pretty much cut to the chase.
If you watched the one-hour special (see below for the link) you would have seen that Nick went to console Andi after Eric left, which will play a role in next week’s dates. At the cocktail party, Andi wore an interesting gold dress. It was sort of funky, but I found this La Femme 18439 dress ($550) that is similar:
The ring Andi is wearing is also Kiki Design’s Queen Lepidolite Ring ($120)
During the rose ceremony, Tasos was eliminated which wasn’t a big surprise. They didn’t seem to have much of a romantic connection. Next week we head to France!
What did you think about this episode and Eric Hill’s exit?
There are a number of deleted scenes this week. The first one is Marcus’ ITM on getting the one-on-one date card:
In this scene we get to see some of her alone time with Josh from the missing rose ceremony:
Chris and Eric talk about Dylan’s one-on-one date with Andi and what he needs to do to get a rose this week:
