Ladies and Gentleman, it’s time for Troy Restaurant Week! This is one of my favorite times of year. My husband and I are foodies and love to go out to eat together with a good bottle of wine. I also like to enjoy the finer things in life and Troy Restaurant Week gives us the chance to do that without breaking the bank.
If you’ve never experienced Restaurant Week before here is the lowdown. A group of restaurants offers a fixed menu that you can try for a discounted price (usually $25-30 for a three course meal). This year’s Troy Restaurant Week runs from August 18th through August 23rd. You don’t have much time, so make sure to get your reservations in ASAP.
Here are the restaurants participating in this year’s Restaurant Week:
- Bahama Breeze
- Brio Tuscan Grille
- Granite City Food & Brewery
- Kona Grill
- Kruse & Muer on Wilshire
- Loccino Italian Grill & Bar
- McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks
- Mon Jin Lau
- Morton’s The Steakhouse
- Muses Greek Cuisine & Spirits
- Ocean Prime
- Papa Vino’s Italian Kitchen
- Picano’s
- Ruth’s Chris Steak House
- Shield’s Restaurant Bar Pizzeria
- Steelhouse Tavern
- The Capital Grille
- The Melting Pot of Troy
- Tre Monti Ristorante
Some of my favorite Troy restaurants are Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Melting Pot of Troy and Tre Monti Ristorante. If I could squeeze those three in this week I would be a happy camper. If you are interested in checking out the fixed menus, you can do that at the Troy Restaurant Week website.
Are you excited for Troy Restaurant Week? What restaurants are you dying to check out?
Man! I’ve only been moved one year and it sounds like there are already a few new places. Melting Pot was definitely my favorite! I always heard good things about Ruth’s Chris as well. Enjoy!
