If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll remember that I love Meghan Markle. She’s so classy and the ultimate hostess. I can’t wait for her upcoming show, “With Love, Meghan” coming in March. Meghan and Harry were recently on-site, helping feed victims of the California Fires. Even in an unthinkable tragedy, her style is just effortless. While she knows she will be photographed everywhere, I wouldn’t be that put together in the same situation.
These Eda D’Orsay Sneakers ($295) are from FRĒDA SALVADOR, a woman-owned brand from Sausalito, California. I’m sure she has a team that helps her with this, but it’s not like she knew this would happen and could plan in advance. To put that together on the fly shows how thoughtful she is.
While I LOVE women-owned businesses, I’m not ready to spend $295 for a pair of leisure sneakers. I found these Lucky Brand Women’s Dansbey Casual Sneakers for only $51.60 that have the same look and feel.
Either way, these aren’t the type of shoes you can wear socks with, so I could imagine myself slipping them on before running out the door. After chasing a toddler around all day, you don’t always have time to think about what you’re wearing, so these would definitely elevate an outfit without even trying.
Do you have a splurge that you want me to find a steal for? Let me know in the comments. If you end up trying out the steal, I would love to hear what you think (and send me your pictures).
