I’m really looking forward to Valentine’s Day this year. It probably didn’t hurt that John recently returned from a two-week business trip. You know that they say, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” I thought I would share some of my Valentine’s Day favorites for today’s post:

1. XO Metallic Journal ($20)

I use these types of notepads all the time at work and I thought this was a cute little nod to the season.

2. L. Mawby Sex ($15)

This is one of my favorite sparkling wines. It is Michigan made and the perfect beverage for Valentine’s Day.

3. Bombshell Heart Eau de Parfum ($30)

This reminded me of these little heart necklaces filled with bubbles that I used to have as a child. I loved the whimsical look.

4. Marc Jacobs Embossed Heart Leather Card Case ($95)

My mom always used to get my sister and I little Valentine’s gifts and this reminded me of something cute and fun that she might have given us.

5. Love Candle ($22.50)

I love me a candle, and this Valentine’s themed one smells like spring cherry blossoms, fresh strawberries and sweet tonka. I had to look up what tonka was…apparently it is a scented bean used in a lot of fragrances.
