Wine of the Week: Veuve Clicquot

I was first introduced to Veuve Clicquot when we read The Widow Clicquot for my book club. I absolutely LOVED the book and I learned so much about the history of champagne, which made me appreciate it even more. When we met up for book club it was a given that we had to try Veuve Clicquot for ourselves. One of the things that got me fired up was the girl power in this story. Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin took over the business after her husband passed in a time where few women were in leadership positions.

The Widow Clicquot

This YouTube video gives you a brief overview of the the history of Veuve Clicquot:

We were able to try both the Yellow Label and Rose bottles. The Yellow Label is a perfect blend and might be my new favorite champagne. It has notes of fruit followed by aromas of brioche and vanilla. The Rose has notes of raspberry, wild strawberry and cherry and is described as elegant and sensual. I was a huge fan of the Yellow Label. I would absolutely get this again for a special occasion.

Veuve Clicquot

Here is a painting of the Grande Dame herself. You can see also see this on the cage of every bottle:

the grande dame

Clicquot Cage

Here are a few tidbits about Veuve Clicquot that you may not have known:

  • The anchor, the Christian symbol for hope and rigour, was chosen in 1798 by Phillippe Clicquot.
  • Non-vintage wines are aged in the cellar for a minimum of 30 months, more than twice as long as the champagne regulations require.
  • To taste Veuve Clicquot, you must keep it between 10 and 12C, serve it around 8C and taste it between 9 and 10C. If the temperature is too low it will prevent the development of aromas.
  • Veuve means widow (named after the Widow Clicquot).
  • They were the first champagne house to produce rose Champagne.

What wines are you planning to try in 2016?

Bachelor 20 – Week 3 Recap

As we enter week three, we get overhear a conversation between Amanda and Lauren B. talking about Olivia and how she spent $40,000 on her Bachelor wardrobe. Olivia addresses this on her blog here. Lauren B. gets the first one-on-one date with Ben and gets to fly in a bi-plane with Ben. She wore a sold out Cottonwood Cold Shoulder Top from Francesca’s. I liked this Ella Moss Bella Ruffle Cold Shoulder Top ($138) to recreate the look:

Francesca's

Then a hot tub shows up out of nowhere…only on the Bachelor would that happen…

On the evening portion of their date, Lauren B. wore a cute white lace mini dress. I found this similar Brigitte Bailey Brilliance Lace Dress ($50.99) to recreate her look:

Lace Dress

Back at the mansion, Lauren H. (our Michigan gal) reads off the next group date card wearing a cute “Lettuce be friends” shirt. The tank is from Suburban Riot and is $42.

On the group soccer date, Lauren H. wore the LuluLemon Wild Tank ($64):

lululemon wild tank

The girls played hard and Emily even broke her thumb during the game (which they didn’t show).

At the rose ceremony, Jennifer wore a Zimmermann Silk V-Tuck Dress ($480):

Zimmerman

Lauren H. wore a sold out As You Are Hot Pink Bodycon Midi Dress from LuLu’s. I found this similar Pink Cut Out Dress ($105):

Lulus Pink Dress

Emily wore Steve Madden’s Sandalia Dress Sandal ($129.95):

Steve Madden

Olivia seemed to be unfairly attacked this week, but I found it odd that after Ben announced that he had a death in the family she felt like it was a good time to talk about it with him. Timing is everything. Olivia wore a sold out Alice + Olivia sequin top and skirt. This Illusion Sweetheart Two Piece Homecoming Dress by Mac Duggal ($378) is similar:

Alice and Olivia

At the rose ceremony, Lace sent herself home – not a moment too soon. She definitely could not handle this process. Ben also sent Jami and Shushanna home.

Here are your deleted scenes for the week:

In this one, Caila teaches the girls some of her Bollywood dance moves:

In this scene, Ben offers the losers of the soccer game an ice cream treat:

The girls didn’t take kindly to Jubilee’s non-excited reaction to her one-on-one date with Ben:

Five on Friday: Valentine’s Day Favorites

I’m really looking forward to Valentine’s Day this year. It probably didn’t hurt that John recently returned from a two-week business trip. You know that they say, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” I thought I would share some of my Valentine’s Day favorites for today’s post:

1. XO Metallic Journal ($20)

I use these types of notepads all the time at work and I thought this was a cute little nod to the season.

XO Metallic Journal

2. L. Mawby Sex ($15)

This is one of my favorite sparkling wines. It is Michigan made and the perfect beverage for Valentine’s Day.

Sex_web_large

3. Bombshell Heart Eau de Parfum ($30)

This reminded me of these little heart necklaces filled with bubbles that I used to have as a child. I loved the whimsical look.

Bombshell

4. Marc Jacobs Embossed Heart Leather Card Case ($95)

My mom always used to get my sister and I little Valentine’s gifts and this reminded me of something cute and fun that she might have given us.

Marc Jacobs

5. Love Candle ($22.50)

I love me a candle, and this Valentine’s themed one smells like spring cherry blossoms, fresh strawberries and sweet tonka. I had to look up what tonka was…apparently it is a scented bean used in a lot of fragrances.

Love candle

These are just a few fun things to get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day this year. Have you seen anything fun to help celebrate?

The Good Wife “Lies” Recap

Alicia (Julianna Marguiles) and Luca (Cush Jumbo) take on a case from Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) this week of a woman who lied to her employer. Alicia wore a sold out Nanette Lepore Graphic Tweed Jacket. This Tahari Tweed Zip-Front Jacket ($90.35) is similar:

Nanette Lepore

Alicia and Luca look into insurance for the firm, but they also have to insure Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who Alicia is concerned about. Luca wore a chic black dress with a white collar ruffle. I found this Ralph Lauren Spread Collar Lace Dress ($184) to recreate the look:

Ralph Lauren

Diane (Christine Baranski), Cary ( Matt Czuchry), David (Zach Grenier) and Howard (Jerry Adler) interview a potential intern and couldn’t have been more discriminatory towards her in the interview. Diane wore a sold out Akris Punto Mini Dot Jacquard Jacket. This Lafayette 148 New York Lynn Blazer ($598) is similar:

Akris

Luca and Alicia aren’t doing so well in court due to a few technicalities. Alicia wore a red belted blazer. I found a similar style in this White House Black Market Seasonless Belted Blazer ($66.99):

Belted blazer

As Diane campaigns to hire Monica, she wore the Pono Summer’s Dream Resin Necklace ($325). This Melisa Necklace ($50) is similar:

Pono

Alicia and Luca are back in court and they have to bring in their super secret NSA witness. I always love these storylines because they are so fun! Alicia wore a navy peplum blazer with a little puff in the shoulders. The best I could find to match this was this Calvin Klein Notched Collar Suit Jacket ($77.40).

Navy blazer

After Diane brings in Monica to let her down she receives an email with a YouTube video detailing how Lockhart, Agos, Lee treated Monica horribly and discriminated her in their hiring. This will mean trouble for their firm in the future. Diane wore a red and black leopard print blazer. This Banana Republic Animal Print Blazer ($178) provides a similar look:

Leopard blazer

Diane continues to push Monica to no avail, Monica makes it clear that the only thing that will assuage her is a job.

In other news, Peter (Chris Noth) announces his candidacy for president with Alicia by his side, in similar fashion to Obama. I loved this scene with Alicia and Peter because working in the public relations world I sometimes feel that the viewer/reader has no idea what actually goes into these sorts of events and that was a small albeit humorous example.

Five on Friday: Happy Birthday Sport!

Tomorrow is Sport’s 4th birthday! We are so blessed to have our sweet boy and I cannot wait to spoil him rotten. John has also been gone on a business trip for two weeks and is coming back today – just in time to celebrate! Since we adopted Sport, I’ve been looking for fun treats and toys that he might love and figured I would share a few in this post (along with some pictures of my cutie pie!).

Birthday

1. Bowser Beer for Dogs ($23.99 for a 6-pack)

I got the Cock-a-Doodle Brew for Sport to try. Now that he will be four he is definitely over 21 in dog year (ha ha). This stuff is great for a few reasons, it is made in the USA and it even contains glucosamine for joint health. You can even order custom labels with your dog’s photo!

Bowser Beer

2. Zippy Paws Burrow Toys ($19.99)

I love Zippy Paws! Another American company, they have such fun and creative dog toys. Sport had a blast with the burrow toy we got him for Christmas so I decided to get him this Chipmunk Burrow Log for his birthday. Sport loves anything with a squeaker!

Zippy Paws

3. K9 Granola Factory Treats

Sport LOVES K9 Granola Factory! These treats are amazing and smell so good. I love that they are all natural and have such healthy ingredients for our boy. For his birthday we are going to try the blueberry flavor.

K9 Blueberry

4. Dog Treat Tower ($9.99)

I wanted to try a puzzle toy with Sport, but I’m not sure if he will like it. He is mostly food driven so I figured I would test this treat tower out with him. This looks fun for him and you can increase the difficulty if he masters it.

Treat Tower

5. NCAA Michigan Wolverines Collegiate Outerwear Dog Coat ($41.99)

We got this for Sport for Christmas and he loves it. He gets so many compliments while wearing it too!

What are your favorite items for your pup? We can’t wait to spoil our sweet boy for his birthday tomorrow. Stay tuned as I’m sure I will share some pics on social media.

Bachelor 20 – Week 2 Recap

Week 2 is here and Ben and the bachelorettes go back to school. Right off the bat, one of the twins waxes poetically about Ben being the best Bachelor. I’m not sure if it was Emily or Haley, but she is wearing the Kendra Scott Rayne Tassel Pendant ($80):

Kendra Scott Rayne

The very first date card came for Jackie, LB, Lauren H., Becca, Amber, Mandi, JoJo, Jubilee, Jennifer and Lace to take a trip to Bachelor High. Even though Lace was all kinds of insecure and crazy, I did like her blue dress. To recreate her look I found this Jessica Simpson Women’s Popover Dress ($44.16):

Jessica Simpson

Caila won the one-on-one date/movie promo with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. It looks like she was wearing the Kate Spade Small Square Stud Earrings ($38):

Kate Spade

During dinner, I really liked Caila’s sequin shrug. That is such a versatile piece that you could use in all sorts of different situations. This Laundry by Shelli Segal Sequined Jacket ($96.75) is similar:

Laundry Sequined Jacket

During the next group date, Ben takes the ladies to visit a Love Lab where they can test their attraction. It was sort of an awkward date, what are you supposed to do if you’re not compatible? I loved Haley’s floral striped shirt from Kierra (sold out). This St. John’s Bay 3/4-Sleeve Striped Floral T-Shirt ($14.99) is similar:

PacSun

Emily wore the Truly Madly Deeply Deep-V Tee from Urban Outfitters ($34) with the Rails Hunter Long Sleeve Button Down ($97). She accessorized with the Kendra Scott Elisa Pendant Necklace ($65) and an adorable wishbone necklace. I found this similar Meredith Hahn Wishbone Riann Necklace ($75):

Rails

At the cocktail party, Olivia gets pulled away first since science confirms that she has the strongest chemistry with Ben. She also got the group date rose. Olivia wore the Trina Turk Parry Dress ($143.20). This Laundry by Shelli Segal Scalloped Lace Halter Dress ($265) is similar:

Trina Turk

At the final cocktail party, Lauren wore the Lauren Dress from Ritual Boutique ($76).

Ritual Boutique

I loved Emily’s B. Darlin Metallic Sequin Mirror Print Sheath Dress ($99). This Dress the Population Arden Sequin Sheath Dress ($198) is similar in style:

Dillards

Lauren (our Michigan gal) wore a yellow bodycon dress. I found this Plain Charming Sleeveless Colorful Bodycon Dress ($25.95) to recreate her look.

bodycon

Ben scored some major points with Amanda when he had them craft some hair barrettes for her daughter. Amanda wore the sold out Dress the Population Savannah Sequin Dress. They make a similar version with the Lola Sequin Body-Con Dress ($218):

Dress the Population

I really lived Jubilee’s long black dress with the open back. There are so many ways you could accessorize it. This Forever 21 Cutout-Back Maxi Dress ($24.90) is a great match:

Forever 21 Black Maxi

Jennifer wore the Finders Keepers Next In Line to Take a Bow Fuchsia Dress ($112). I found it in blue and black as well. They also have a Playsuit version with more sizes in pink.

Finders Keepers

I also liked Samantha’s white lace gown – at least she looked classy for her exit. I found an almost identical dress from DHGate online for $153.98:

Samantha white lace

In a surprising move, LB decided to send herself home so that gave Ben an extra rose for someone else…

At the end of the evening Ben sent home Jackie, Mandi and Samantha.

Five on Friday: 2016 Favorites

Since we are at the end of the first month in the new year, I thought I would share some of the things that have been keeping me on track with my goals this month and just some of my general favorites:

1. Dream Dinners

John and I were terrible about meal prep in 2015 and I knew that January would be nuts for us, so I decided to enlist a little help. I tried out Dream Dinners and it has been amazing! You sign up online and select a list of meals that you want to create for the next 2-4 weeks. Then you visit your local Dream Dinners location and you get to make all of the meals into frozen dinners to serve at your convenience. This has been such a lifesaver for us this month. I will definitely be doing it again! If you are local and want to try it out, I get credit for bringing a friend.

The Southwest Pork Carnita Wraps are my favorite so far!

The Southwest Pork Carnita Wraps are my favorite so far!

2. HydraFacial

I mentioned in my Christmas Wish List post that I wanted to get more Eminence Facials this year. After Christmas, I had a spa day with the girls and expected to get an Eminence Facial. Well I found out that MGM Detroit decided to discontinue using Eminence products because they had to be exclusive, so I ended up trying a HydraFacial instead. I had never heard of HydraFacial before or even knew that it was popular with celebrities like Beyonce, Kate Winslet, Amy Poehler, Kim Zolciak, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Paris Hilton, Whitney Port, Brittany Snow, and more! It was AMAZING! Seriously, the best facial I have ever had. I noticed immediate results and my skin continued to improve throughout the following week. I would love to start getting these once a month. I even found out that some dermatology offices do them at a lower cost than regular spas – definitely something to check out.

HydraFacial

3. Erin Condren Life Planner

This is my third year using the Erin Condren Life Planner and I love it! I having been taking advantage of all the features this year and even got the meal planner insert. I love seeing my full calendar as opposed to an electronic daily calendar, so this helps me to stay organized.

Erin Condren

4. The Dating Divas

Having fun with my husband is definitely on the list for 2016 and the Dating Divas help plan some fun dates and thoughtful ideas to connect with your hubby. They have everything from holidays to just because gifts and more. I love this one for a just because gift:

Dating Divas

5. Plant Nanny

I’ve mentioned this before, but the Plant Nanny app has been helping me reach my water goals. This app is like a game and makes logging your water a fun task by growing a plant. It also reminds you in a real way that if you don’t water your plant it will die. I’ve only hit my daily water goal once so far, but in 2015 I probably only drank one glass of water a day if that. This app has pushed me up to an average of 3-4 glasses and sometimes more. I think that is a great achievement.

As you can see I need to drink more water today

Bachelor 20 – Week 1 Recap

The Bachelor is back! This is my favorite time of year, because it means my wine and Bachelor viewing parties start up again. For season 20, we have Bachelor Ben Higgins from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season.

A perfect Ben

The premiere kicks off with an introduction to our newest Bachelor, Ben. Ben sort of reminds me of Chris Soules – positioned as an all-American boy from a small town. Before Ben kicks off his journey, he gets a crash course from former Bachelors Jason Mesnick, Sean Lowe and Chris Soules…what no Juan Pablo?

Then we have a few promos from the girls including Lauren B., Caila, Jubilee, Mandi, Haley, Emily, Amanda, Tiara and Samantha.

I noticed Haley and Emily’s Kendra Scott earrings immediately as I’ve had my eye on them myself. They wore the Danielle ($60) and the Skylar ($65):

Kendra Scott

Samantha wore a Stella & Dot Engravable Bar Necklace ($59) with her dad’s birthday engraved on it.

Stella and Dot

Enter the limos! First up is Lauren Bushnell our resident flight attendant who brings Ben his own wings. She wore a Sorella Strapless Maxi Dress from LuLu’s ($205). If you have your heart set on the blue, I found this Floor-length Chiffon Bridesmaid Dress ($89.99). On a side Laura a.k.a. Red Velvet had the same dress in a different color.

LuLus

Caila Quinn literally jumped into Ben’s arms in an Adrianna Papell Sequined Sheath Dress ($208).

Adrianna Papell

Enter Jami, Kaitlyn’s bff from Vancouver. This dress wasn’t really my cup of tea, but my coworker loved it, so this one’s for you Sasha! Jami’s dress is from Ever New in Vancouver. I found two similar looks to recreate the look if you don’t want to hunt this dress down in Vancouver. The first is this Spellbound Midi Dress ($84) and the second is this Graceful Dancer Ivory Lace Two-Piece Dress ($69):

Ever New

Samantha was memorable to me, because she may have been the first girl in Bachelor history to have learned that she passed the bar exam on her way to the mansion. I also liked her red lace dress. I found two options to recreate her look this Jovani Lace Illusion Gown ($650) and this Illusion V-neck Mermaid Chiffon Side-slit Lace Prom Dress ($96.60):

Samantha red lace

JoJo enters with a unicorn mask claiming that she’s Ben’s unicorn. I didn’t hate it, at least she tried something fun. She wore a Red Shannia Dress. This Phistic Felicia Crisscross Front Bandage Dress ($49) is similar:

JoJo

Lauren B. a.k.a. “LB” is next with a hot pink bandage dress. This GUESS V-Neck Bandage Dress ($59.99) is similar:

LB bandage

I really liked Olivia’s Zuhair Murad dress and thought it was charming that she was a little speechless. I’m not sure why she left her news anchor job for the Bachelor…hopefully it will pay off for her. I thought this Lisa Women’s V-Neck Sequins Floor Length Evening Gown ($69) is similar:

Zuhair Murad

After all the women have arrived, Chris Harrison treats us to a surprise…Amber and Becca are back! Becca wore the Expert-tease Black Bodycon Dress (sold out). This Endless Rose Front Cutout Mini Dress ($34.68) is similar:

Becca LuLus

Amber wore a dress designed by Project Runway’s Calvin Tran. This Deep V-Neck Gown ($280) from White House Black Market provides a similar look:

Amber Project Runway

Olivia received the first impression rose, although if quitting your news anchor job to come on The Bachelor is Ben’s idea of good catch, I’m not sure I’m a fan. She does address this point on her blog here.

At the end of the night Ben sent home Breanne, Izzy, Jessica, Laura, Lauren R., Maegan and Tiara.

Here are a few deleted scenes from Week 1:

In this deleted scene, we meet Jami who is friends with Kaitlyn, our former Bachelorette:

In the next scene, we learn more about Shushanna, who does in fact speak English:

In this deleted scene, JoJo explains the unicorn head:

In this scene from Bachelor Live, we get to learn a little more about Maegan, who was probably the most real person of the entire night. Let’s just say, I would love to hang with Maegan – she seems fun:

In this scene, Sean, Jason and Chris pass down the infamous “Bachelor undies” to Ben:

Last but not least, Tiara has her own version of a confidence dance:

What did you think about the Season 20 premiere? Anyone favorites yet?

Beauty Favorites for a Long Day

This past week, I worked The North American Auto Show for one of my clients during the press and industry preview days. I also started teaching again the same week. This meant starting my work day at 5:30 a.m. and not getting home until after 10 p.m. I also took note of the models working the auto show and how they remained flawless in 4-inch stiletto heels which got me thinking about what the best beauty products are to keep you looking fresh after a long day. Here are a few of my favorites:

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray ($30)

If you could only choose one product to get you through a long day, this is it. Urban Decay’s All Nighter lasts for up to 16 hours and it actually lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep everything in place whether it’s hot, humid or cold.

setting spray

NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base ($25)

This eyeshadow base is essential to keep your eyeshadow from creasing. It is one of the best products I have ever used. It absolutely changes the way your shadow looks.

Nars Eye Primer

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant ($25)

I first learned about this from Michelle Money, and love the smell of it. I’ve definitely noticed a difference using this on those hot summer days – it stays put and keeps you smelling fresh all day long.

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant

Still Standing Spray ($27.99)

If you have a long day, like I did, most times you are standing on your feet…in heels. Still Standing is designed to last for 1.5 – 4 hours (yes you can reapply) and helps to relieve the pain you feel from wearing heels.

shopify_Still_Standing_box_w_minis_large

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels ($30)

I first mentioned these here after I discovered them from Julie Benz. If you’ve had a crazy long day and have to get up and do it all over again, these eye gels are a must have!

Skyn Iceland

Always Clean Wipes-to-Go ($20)

This was another Michelle Money recommendation. I NEVER would have thought to try these on my own. These are great to keep in your purse to freshen up and not just for what you are thinking. You can use them anywhere. They have a nice scent and are perfect to throw in your purse on the go.

always

Sparkling Soda Shine Mist ($28)

One of my girlfriends swears by shine spray, but I hadn’t been able to find one that didn’t weigh down my super baby fine hair. This one is great and smells nice too. Bonus – it makes your hair pop in pictures.

Dior Fix it ($36)

I first learned about this from my one-on-one tutorial with Dior makeup artist Ricky Wilson. This stuff is amazing because you are priming and concealing at the same time. Plus it is so purse friendly. Ricky recommended making little x’s on your trouble spots and blending. You can also use this as a lip primer to make your color pop.

Fix it

Boscia Black Charcoal Blotting Linens ($10)

Blotting papers are a must for a long day, especially when you have oily skin like me. They are also infused with black bamboo charcoal to actively purify pores, because if I am working long hours I am probably stressed and prone to breakouts.

boscia

Dickinson’s Refreshingly Clean Cleansing Cloths

I know the last thing you want to do after a long day is take off your makeup, but I’ve been told multiple times that sleeping in your makeup is equivalent to seven days of aging! So just use a wipe and take care of your skin! Dickinson’s wipes are all natural so they are gentle on your face plus they have a convenient to-go pack.

Scandal “Even the Devil Deserves a Second Chance” Recap

The impeachment is over and the White House is celebrating…for about five minutes until they find out that Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) father is free. How much longer until they figure out who helped him escape? Olivia wore the sold out Armani Collezioni Triple Layer Hem Wool Blend Jacket. This Preston & York Nisha Blazer ($99) is similar:

Armani Collezioni

The party is over when everyone finds out that Rowan (Joe Morton) has escaped…aka Olivia helps him get out in exchange for getting rid of the impeachment. The thing I love about Jake (Scott Foley) is that he totally calls Olivia out on her double standards. Olivia wore a sold out Max Mara Detroit Belted Camel Hair Jacket and carried a beige Prada tote ($2,500). This BCBGeneration Tuxedo Blazer ($118) and Michael Kors Selma Satchel ($389.17) are similar:

MaxMara

Later Olivia and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) are hanging out in the Oval Office when Cyrus (Jeff Perry) comes in with a new agenda…he’s a little disappointed when he realizes that Olivia is running the show now. The President is preparing to give out the Presidential Medal of Freedom and all seems great until Olivia’s new client claims that the honoree is a rapist. This puts Liv and Fitz on opposing sides this week. Olivia wore an Armani Collezioni Zigzag Zip-Front Jacket ($348) and had her Prada Saffiano Medium Executive Tote Bag ($2,500) on hand. This 1 STATE Chevron Peplum Jacket ($89.50) and Michael Kors Selma Tote ($300) are similar:

Armani Collezioni Chevron

Abby (Darby Stanchfield) takes some time to meet with Liz North (Portia de Rossi). Abby carried a sold out Zac Posen Eartha Metallic Colorblock Leather Tote Bag. There is an all black version still available for $276.50:

Zac Posen

Liz breaks the news to Abby that she’s planning to go on The Liberty Report with Sally Langston (Kate Burton) if Abby doesn’t find her a job back at the White House. Liz wore a sold out Wool Plaid Coat from Brooks Brothers and she carried a Zac Posen Eartha Iconic Jumbo Double Handle Bag ($595). This Vera Wang Herringbone Long Fit & Flare Coat ($450) and McKleinUSA Tablet Faux-Leather Shoulder Tote ($199.50) are similar:

Brooks Brothers Plaid Wool Coat

Abby runs to Cyrus with this information and gets David Rosen (Joshua Malina) involved to silence Liz. She wore a Gucci Pussy-bow Silk-Georgette Top ($597). This INC International Concepts Long-Sleeve Tie-Neck Blouse ($39.99) is similar:

Gucci

Olivia and Quinn (Katie Lowes) went to question Frank Holland about their client’s accusations and he plays dumb making their client look foolish. Olivia wore a sold out Pleated Silk Blouse by Etro. This Matte Jersey Shell from Ann Taylor ($49.50) is similar:

Etro

Liz North is still planning to spill the White House secrets on Sally Langston, but Olivia doesn’t seem scared. She is running Fitz and the Oval in the most beautiful bow blazer. I wish I could find the original. This was so unique I had a hard time finding a match. The closest I could do was this BGN Blazer ($166):

Bow Blazer

Liz blinked and didn’t sell out the White House secrets to Sally Langston, but instead we discover that Fitz has given her a job as Susan Ross’ chief of staff. Liz wore a GUCCI Pussy-Bow Printed Silk-Crepe Blouse ($750). This Sanctuary Boho Nouveau Blouse ($44.99) is similar:

Gucci pussy bow blouse

Later she ends up seducing David Rosen and Olivia handles Frank Holland. Cyrus finally figures out that Olivia is running the show not Fitz…and Olivia embraces it. We’ll see how long that lasts when Fitz finds out she was the one who released Command.
