Welcome! I’m Elizabeth a.k.a. the Duchess of Detroit. Since launching this blog in 2013, I’ve shared my love for beauty, fashion, travel, wine, TV fashion recaps, all while highlighting the vibrant culture of Detroit and the metro Detroit area.

So much has happened in my life since I started this blog. In 2014 we became homeowners and expanded our family in 2015 with our sweet Cocker Spaniel, Sport:

I have worked in public relations in Detroit for two decades and have been fortunate to work with some amazing brands and organizations. In 2019, I started my own business, LINC Detroit, and became an entrepreneur. It has been both challenging and rewarding.

In 2021, my beautiful daughter, Cassandra, arrived making me a mother and changing my life completely. She has forced me to slow down and savor every moment. She has brought so much joy into my life.

I married my college sweetheart, John, on May 7, 2011 one of the best days of my life. We knew each other for a LONG time before we got married. I’m sure I will post our story at some point, but I knew from the moment I saw him from across the room that he was something special. He is my prince charming and my best friend. I am very lucky to have him in my life.
