White Collar “Return to Sender” Recap

Peter (Tim DeKay) is enthusiastic about Elizabeth’s (Tiffani Thiessen) baby news and has decided to start fixing things around the house. Elle wears a teal blouse similar to this one from Trouve ($74):

Trouve

Neil (Matt Bomer) wants to ensure that his deal with the FBI to take down the Pink Panthers is iron clad. In the meantime, he has to take his first meeting with the Panthers and who does he run into? Matt Kellar (Ross McCall) who surprisingly doesn’t blow Neal’s cover. His first mission…steal a priceless stamp.

Mozzie (Willie Garson) pays a visit to Elle and quickly discovers that she is pregnant when she won’t share a glass of wine with him. Elle wears a plum blouse with a white cardigan. I found this Vince Mixed Media Crossover Blouse ($149.99) and this Saks Fifth Avenue Collection Cashmere Long Cardigan ($210) to recreate the look.

vince blouse

Neil and Peter meet with Bianca, their liaison for this mission and Peter gets to pretend to be Neal’s father, which wasn’t too far from the truth. They head off to a private black market auction and Neil impressively steals the stamp that they were after against all odds. I love how he can think on his feet and come up with crazy plans at a moment’s notice.

Unfortunately, the FBI has to confiscate the stamp and Neal is forced to forge it so he has something to deliver to the Panthers. He uses a secret code in the stamp to convince Kellar to authenticate it. He also confronts Kellar about being an informant for Interpol. Kellar reminds him that they both have something to gain if they can work together.

In the end of the episode Peter presents Neal with a signed contract from the Attorney General. If he brings down the Panthers he officially has his freedom. Peter also reveals the news about Elle’s pregnancy and Neal is genuinely happy for him.

I can’t wait to see what will happen with only four episodes left.

If you missed this episode, you can find it on iTunes for $2.99.

White Collar “Borrowed Time” Recap

So here we go, the final season of White Collar – so sad, but I can’t wait to see what Neal (Matt Bomer) and the gang will get up to in the last six episodes.

The episode kicks off with Peter (Tim DeKay) thinking that Neal ran because the FBI refused to release him. They raid his apartment, but Mozzie (Willie Garson) walks in having no idea what is happening. He comes to the conclusion that Neal must have been taken somewhere. I liked Diana’s (Marsha Thomason) polka dot blouse. I liked this Dylan Gray Polka Dot Silk Blouse ($198) for a similar look:

polka dot blouse

We find out that one of Rebecca’s (Bridget Regan) associates has taken Neal hostage to help him audition for the Pink Panthers, a world renowned group of thieves. Neal leaves clues for Peter to find him but persuades Peter to let him finish the heist in an attempt to get an even bigger score. The FBI isn’t sure they can trust him, after Mozzie pretty much admitted that they were planning to run, but they let it play out.

In the meantime, Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) has moved to Washington D.C. to start her new job while Peter stays in New York. I loved her belted coat during their phone call and haven’t seen anything like it. I thought this Belted Crepe Trench Coat ($34.90) was somewhat similar:

belted coat

Neal is able to successfully audition for the Pink Panthers in a spectacular heist. He definitely has no fear! He is hoping that the Pink Panthers will be a big enough score to make a deal with the FBI for his freedom. Neal makes it back to the FBI office in time to say goodbye to Rebecca but in a shocking twist she tries to escape and the marshall has to kill her. This was so sad, especially after Neal admitted that he still had feelings for her.

After a long day, Peter heads home to find Elizabeth waiting for him with some big news! She is pregnant! She looks fabulous in a navy sheath. I found this similar Adrianna Papell Side Pleat Sheath Dress ($118):

navy sheath

Neal and Mozzie end the evening with a glass of wine on the terrace. Mozzie got to walk in Neal’s shoes at the FBI and understands why Neal stays, but he tells him that it’s all an illusion. Neal alludes to the idea that he might be after something bigger. With five episodes left who knows what he has up his sleeve?

How do you think the series will end?

If you missed this episode, you can find it on iTunes for $2.99.

Fall 2014 TV Preview

I could not be more excited for Fall TV this year! I am actually swapping in a new DVR this weekend and am going to get everything programmed in. Here is what I will be watching and I will note which ones I will be recapping. Let me know if there are any shows you would love to see me recap.

September 15

Dancing With the Stars (ABC)

So I ended up skipping last season’s DWTS because I didn’t have time to commit to watching 3-4 hours every week. I am 50/50 on watching this season. I love the show, but it is just soooooo long. There are going to be some good contestants this year like Alfonso Ribeiro (do you think he will do the Carlton?), Betsey Johnson (count on her doing the splits), Antonio Sabato, Jr. (this year’s eye candy), and Bethany Mota (YouTube sensation and probably my only hope of every being on this show, so I need to get more readers, lol).

abc_dancing_with_the_stars_cast_mt_140904_16x9_992September 21

Madam Secretary (CBS)

I love political dramas, but I love Tea Leoni even more, so this seems like a great combination. The show follows the life of a former CIA Analyst turned Secretary of State, Elizabeth McCord (Leoni) and looks like a winner. After watching the clip below, I know I will be hooked!

The Good Wife (CBS)

When we last left Alicia (Julianna Marguiles), she had just been asked to run for the State’s Attorney’s office. Pair that with potentially merging with Diane (Christine Baranski), we have a great new season shaping up. It also looks like Alicia may have a new love interest, but will she ever divorce Peter (Chris Noth)? I will be covering The Good Wife fashion again, you can see my previous Good Wife posts here.

September 22

Gotham (FOX)

Gotham is a new drama that is just what it sounds like, a Batman prequel. This follows Harvey Gordon as he moves up the ranks of Gotham PD and has an all-star cast including Jada Pinkett Smith, Ben McKenzie and Donal Logue among others. This looks like a great one to watch with the hubby!

Forever (ABC)

This show looked interesting and mostly caught my eye because it stars Ioan Gruffudd, who we last saw on Ringer. Gruffudd stars as Doctor Henry Morgan who is NYC’s medical examiner. Henry has a secret, he is immortal, alive for 200 years, but has no idea why.

Update: You can watch the pilot episode OnDemand. I liked it so far, looks like it could be a great series.

 September 23

Chicago Fire (NBC)

John and I are a little behind on this one, so I am just going to post the clip so I don’t ruin it before we get caught up.

Person of Interest (CBS)

This is another one that John and I haven’t caught up with yet. We stopped watching after Carter (Taraji P. Henson) died, so I am excited to get caught up and see where the show ended up.

September 25

Bones (FOX)

I have to admit, I was a little confused at the end of Season Nine, I wasn’t exactly sure what happened or how. Season 10 sees Booth (David Boreanaz) incarcerated for the murder of three FBI agents and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) trying to clear his name.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)

And then there were two…can you believe that only Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Alex (Justin Chambers) are the only original interns left? This season opens with Alex and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) fighting over Christina’s board seat, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) moving to Washington DC without Meredith and new doctors on the scene it should be interesting how they keep this show alive.

Scandal (ABC)

Last year’s season finale was jam-packed with surprises, from Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Mellie’s (Bellamy Young) son dying, Fitz discovering her secret and then winning a second term, the first family has gone through a lot. Harrison (Columbus Short) is dead, killed by Eli (Joe Morton) who now has everything he wants, including revenge on Fitz. Huck (Guillermo Diaz) came face-to-face with his family and Olivia (Kerry Washington) and Jake (Scott Foley) jetted off into the sunset, but not before sending David Rosen (Joshua Malina) a smoking gun for B613. So where on earth is Olivia Pope? I covered Scandal fashion last year and will again this year. To catch up on my previous posts, click here.

How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)

This is the new show from mastermind Shonda Rimes. This show follows Professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) as she teaches her law students how to help their clients get away with murder. From the preview it looks like they will have to put her advice to good use. This looks pretty good and the clothes look great to, so I may have to cover this one as well…

September 28

Revenge (ABC)

When we last left Emily (Emily Vancamp) her plan has finally succeeded. The Graysons are ruined…but not without a price. Aiden was poisoned by Victoria (Madeline Stowe). It also looks like David Clarke (James Tupper) is still alive! What will happen this season is anyone’s guess.

September 29

Castle (ABC)

When we last looked in on Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) it was their wedding day…but Castle never made it to the altar. He was kidnapped by someone in the finale cliffhanger. Will these two ever get their happy ending?

October 2

The Vampire Diaries (CW)

Is Damon (Ian Somerholder) really gone?

Reign (CW)

Mary (Adelaide Kane) is officially the Queen of France, just in time to deal with the plague. I’m curious to see how this show will continue as history tells us that Francis (Toby Regbo) doesn’t live very long after their marriage.

October 3

Kendra on Top (WE)

I’ve loved watching Kendra for years, I thought her story of finding Hank and growing out of her party phase was touching. I feel terrible for everything she has had to go through recently and couldn’t watch this clip with out getting goosebumps. I am interested to see how she will react this season.

October 5

Homeland (Showtime)

Last season was heartbreaking as Brody was executed with a devastated Carrie (Claire Danes) watching pregnant with his unborn child. After killing off the main character, I’m not sure where the show goes from here.

October 6

The Originals (CW)

The season finale was surprise after surprise, with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) giving up baby Hope to Rebekah (Claire Holt). There are lots of new faces this season and it will be interesting to see where it goes. This show most surprised me last year, I like it so much more than the Vampire Diaries.

October 12

The Affair (Showtime)

The only thing I know about this show is that Joshua Jackson is in it and that is enough for me. The preview looks pretty steamy…

October 24

Grimm (NBC)

In the season finale Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) got married, Nick (David Giuntoli) lost his powers and Adalind (Claire Coffee) is trying to get her baby back. I also forgot that Nick slept with Adalind while she was pretending to be Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch)! In this clip, the producers talk about what to expect in Season 4.

November 6

White Collar (USA)

I am so sad to see White Collar go! The show was cancelled, but USA is giving the writers six episodes to wrap everything up. When we left off, Neal (Matt Bomer) had been abducted by a mystery group and Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) accepted a job in Washington, D.C. possibly leaving Peter (Tim DeKay) behind. I followed all of Elizabeth’s fashion last season and plan to so so again for the final episodes. You can read my previous recaps here.

whitecollar_aspot_finalseason_2490x1418_V2

Covert Affairs (USA)

We just finished the last season of Covert Affairs, but it was renewed for a sixth season and will follow White Collar on November 6. You can catch up with my recaps of the most recent season here.

White Collar “Diamond Exchange” Recap

As I write this I just found out that next season will be the last for White Collar. The network is giving us a six-episode season six to wrap things up. While I am bummed that the show is ending, I am glad that they are giving us a chance to wrap things up. It definitely makes you appreciate the season finale.

The season finale picks up with Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) trying to figure out what Rebecca/Rachel’s (Bridget Regan) next move is. We learn soon enough that she poisoned Mozzie (Willie Garson) as leverage so Neal would find the diamond in exchange for an antidote.

While Peter, Neal and Mozzie hunt down the diamond, Diana (Marsha Thomason) and Jones (Sharif Atkins) are left to hunt down the poison. As they arrive at Fort Totten, a mason built fort, Mozzie makes a discovery only to succumb to the effects of the poison, thus leaving Peter and Neal to find the diamond.

diamond exchange

Before they can find Rebecca, she finds them first when they are alone with no backup. She takes the diamond and locks Neal and Peter up so she can get away. Unfortunately, she still doesn’t give them the antidote for Mozzie, she says she will only provide it when she is safely out of the city.

Not to worry as Diana and Jones come to the rescue with a possible antidote. Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) is at the hospital with Mozzie and insists that the doctors give him the antidote even though the tests haven’t been confirmed. The antidote works, and Mozzie will be fine! She wears a military green blouse while yelling at the doctor. This Glossy V-Neck Blouse from The Limited ($49.95) is similar:

military blouse

Meanwhile, Neal and Peter break free and Neal tries to stop Rebecca with a reason to stay before she helicopters off the island.

Just when we think Rebecca has won, Neal reveals that she doesn’t actually have the diamond, but a piece of brick that Neal swapped in with a little slight of hand. Peter has the real diamond, leaving Rebecca with nothing. Neal convinces her that it’s finally over and that she has to stop running once her helicopter abandons her.

At the end of the day, Mozzie is better and Peter will turn the diamond over to the state department. All is well except for Neal’s freedom. Peter makes a call and recommends that Neal be released from his anklet.

WC_513_0011

As Mozzie and Neal discuss what Neal’s freedom will mean, Neal notices that he is being watched. He tells Mozzie that he will leave the criminal life after he gets his freedom.

WC_513_1019

Unfortunately, that isn’t going to happen because the FBI doesn’t want to lose Neal as an asset. This makes Peter change his mind about going to D.C., but that doesn’t stop Elizabeth who already accepted a job at the National Gallery. She is willing to try long distance, but Peter would be giving up a lot to stay in New York. She wears a grey zip up hoodie while packing up the house. This North Face Kirata Full Zip Hoodie ($90) is similar:

hoodie Neal agrees to let Mozzie crack his anklet so that he can take his freedom. Before they can figure out that plan, Neal is black bagged by the man who was following him and thrown into a van with his anklet thrown out the window.

Now that we know there are only six episodes left of the series, what do you think will happen to Neal next season? Who do you think abducted him? Will he ever get his freedom? What will happen to Peter and Elizabeth?

If you missed this week’s episode, you can still purchase it from iTunes for $2.99.

White Collar “Taking Stock” Recap

This week on White Collar, Neal (Matt Bomer) doesn’t waste any time telling Peter (Tim DeKay) that he doesn’t want a new handler once Peter goes to Washington. He wants the FBI to take all of their case files into consideration and let him go free. But first they have to bag and tag all of the evidence from Rebecca’s (Bridget Regan) case. While they do that, one of her burner phones rings and they get a lead on a new case.

NUP_155778_0210

In order to take this case, Peter needs someone that can pass for Rebecca to go undercover. He brings Diana (Marsha Thomason) back from maternity leave early so she can impersonate Rebecca. When they get the assignment, the guy that is going to hire Rebecca for the job agrees to meet with her, but indicates that he will use her signal so she will know it is him. Unfortunately, they don’t know what her signal is, so Peter has to bring Rebecca into the FBI so they can find out.

After some mind games, they discover her signal is a watch, worn upside down, set at 10:20. Rebecca demands to talk to Neal in return for this information. Diana meets their target, Conrad Worth (Steven Pasquale), but he isn’t sure that she is who she says she is, so Neal has to get some additional background from Rebecca. Diana gets the job – stealing a thumb drive with some priceless information. The drive contains an illegal trading algorithm that was designed to be used on the stock market.

neal-rebecca-white-collar

Peter and Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) work on packing up their house for the big move to Washington. Peter confides to Elizabeth that Neal wants to get off of his anklet and he doesn’t think Neal is ready. Elizabeth suggests that the situation with Rebecca might have been a wake up call for him. She wears a blue/green burnout tee to pack. I thought this JCrew Prima Jersey Drop-Shoulder Tee ($45) was similar:

Screen Shot 2014-02-22 at 4.07.46 PM

The next day, Diana and Neal prepare to steal the thumb drive, but there is an emergency with Diana’s son and she has to leave Neal to handle the caper himself. The emergency turns out to be Mozzie (Willie Garson) stopping by to visit his namesake, Teddy, and harassing Diana’s babysitter. Neal almost gets caught in the act, but manages to get out with the thumb drive in hand.

WC_512_0401

Diana takes the thumb drive back to Conrad Worth, but he was tipped off that Diana is in fact not Rebecca and her cover is blown. The team is still able to make the arrest, but they are left wondering who tipped him off. They discover that the tip came from the Metropolitan Corrections Center and Rebecca was the one that tipped him off.

In the end, Peter and Neal come full circle. Neal tells Peter that he can go straight if the FBI releases him from his anklet, but before they go into detail Peter gets a call saying that Rebecca has escaped from prison.

We see Rebecca on the balcony at Neal’s apartment looking over Mozzie as he has a glass of wine!

What do you think will happen next? Will Rebecca hurt Mozzie?

White Collar “Shot Through the Heart” Recap

Neal (Matt Bomer) is still reeling from learning of Rebecca’s (Bridget Regan) betrayal. Peter (Tim DeKay) decides that they should go on like nothing has happened so they have the upper hand. Neal starts to realize that everything this entire season has been orchestrated by Curtis Hagen (Mark Sheppard) and Rebecca and that he played right into their hands.

Peter confides in Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) that he’s not sure Neal can keep up appearances and keep Rebecca busy while the FBI raids her apartment. Elizabeth wears a black blouse and white jeans. I pulled this Joie Marlo Blouse ($218) and these Gap Skimmer Jeans ($69.95) to recreate the look:

Screen Shot 2014-02-08 at 11.17.59 PM

Once Rebecca arrives at Neal’s apartment, Peter starts the team’s raid on her apartment. Unfortunately, one of the agents trips her security system and an alarm on her phone goes off. She tries to leave Neal by making up some excuse about a doctor’s appointment, but he is determined to slow her down. He goes as far as telling her that he loves her to make her stay. Peter is smart and puts Chinese takeout menus at everyone’s doors in the complex so Rebecca thinks that is what tripped her security system.

The team was able to get surveillance in Rebecca’s apartment and end up watching her leave a voice mail on Neal’s phone saying that she loves him too. It looks pretty realistic and the team thinks that she may have really fallen for Neal. He refuses to believe it and wants to cut ties.

Peter decides to see how she will respond to him taking Neal away and brings her in for questioning. He creates a fake story about how Neal is the prime suspect in Curtis Hagen’s death. She takes the bait and tells Neal to meet her in Madison Square Garden. Rebecca starts to tell Neal the truth, but then she notices the FBI team and starts to run. She gets away and leaves the team wondering what her next move is.

WC_511_0019

Peter and Neal go back to investigate her apartment. As they start to get close to a discovery, Neal gets shot at by a sniper/Rebecca. That doesn’t stop him and he ends up finding her go bag of passports, money, etc.

They still don’t have any evidence to hold Rebecca if they catch her, so Peter and Neal try to walk through Siegel’s murder again. The end up coming up with an idea of where she might have tossed the murder weapon. They have to dig up a concrete sidewalk to find the gun she used, but that is all they need to arrest her.

Jones discovers that Rebecca is really Rachel Turner, a former MI5 agent that went rogue. Peter tells Neal to go home and quit beating himself up over this case. He decides to take matters into his own hands and leaves her a message saying that he will trade the blackmail evidence that she has on him for the Mosconi information she wants.

He sets up a meet with Rebecca and is able to destroy the blackmail she has on him. Before she can run the FBI arrives to arrest her.

WC_511_0581

Peter finally admits to Neal that he is moving to Washington in two weeks and that Jones (Sharif Atkins) will be his new handler.

Now that Rebecca has been arrested and Peter is moving to D.C. there is nothing to keep Mozzie (Willie Garson) and Neal from going after the Hope Diamond.

Elizabeth arrives home from D.C. to tell Peter that she got a job at the Washington Gallery and now their move can finally be official. She wears a white blazer and a white and black patterned blouse with black jeans. To recreate this look, I found the Joie Iva Silk blouse ($198) and this Kim Rogers blazer ($39.99):

Screen Shot 2014-02-09 at 12.43.54 AM

Rebecca/Rachel calls Neal from prison and promises to see him soon…

What did you think about this week’s episode of White Collar? Will Neal and Peter really move on? Will Neal and Mozzie find the diamond? What do you think Rebecca will do next?

White Collar “Live Feed” Recap

Peter (Tim DeKay) is in turmoil this week after Neal’s (Matt Bomer) betrayal. He can’t let it go, but he doesn’t want to lose his career over it either. Of course as everything is up in the air, he gets offered the section chief job in Washington D.C. starting in two weeks.

WC_510_0515

Jones (Sharif Atkins) brings a new case in but Peter doesn’t want to involve Neal this time. Jones knows something is up and advises Peter to end the cycle and quit letting Neal hold him back.

Neal is on his way to finish the Mosconi window deal with Hagen (Mark Sheppard), but Hagen turns the tables on him by kidnapping Rebecca (Bridget Regan) to keep Neal under his thumb.

WC_510_0207

Peter meets with Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) to discuss the section chief job. She is ready to move, but he isn’t ready to let go yet. He’s made his peace with Neal’s betrayal but he can’t forget what happened to Siegel and needs to solve his murder. Elizabeth wears a sold-out Narciso Rodriguez Blue Colorblock Short Sleeve Dress. This Kenneth Cole ‘Andrea’ Colorblock Sheath Dress ($58.80) is similar:

Screen Shot 2014-01-21 at 10.24.45 PM

Neal and Mozzie (Willie Garson) bring Hagen the glass key from the Mosconi window, but Hagen doesn’t bring Rebecca. He decides to hold her until Neal cracks the code.

In the meantime, Peter needs Neal for an art forgery case that implicates Hagen. Neal tries to buy some time by having Mozzie decipher Mosconi’s code. As the FBI is on their way to arrest Hagen, Neal burns the Mosconi pages to try to get Hagen to reveal Rebecca’s location. He has Mozzie memorize the page symbols so they can recreate it later. Neal is able to rescue Rebecca and they have a touching reunion.

With Rebecca’s help, Neal realizes that they are on a treasure hunt for the Hope Diamond’s lost twin. Peter arrests Hagen, but in the interrogation Hagen points the finger at Neal. Hagen offers Peter a deal – he has something to show him if he comes to his house. Jones pulls Neal’s tracking data and discovers that he was with Hagen all afternoon.

Peter decides to visit Hagen’s apartment, but before they go inside Hagen tells them that he is working to set them up and before he can say more is shot by a sniper!

Neal discovers a receipt in Hagen’s wallet that gives him a lead. The receipt is for a location on the same block where Siegel was murdered. They visit the location and discover that Hagen was watching someone. The Cooper 3 clue that Siegel left leads them to an apartment that has files on every FBI agent on Peter’s team.

Neal further discovers the room where Rebecca was being held and realizes that this is her apartment and she has been conning him the whole time. She is also now the main suspect in Siegel’s murder!

I didn’t see that coming!!

What do you think about Rebecca’s betrayal?! Do you think Rebecca will have an explanation? Will Neal dump her?

White Collar “No Good Deed” Recap

We pick up where we left off – Neal (Matt Bomer) and Rebecca (Bridget Regan) the morning after. Things seem to be going well, but Neal wants to distance her from his dealings with Hagen.

Back at the office, Jones (Sharif Atkins) brings one of the Welsh gold coins that Neal stole and drops it on Peter’s (Tim Dekay) desk. This is their first lead in the case. Someone is trying to unload the coins and Peter is determined to find out who the fence is. Neal hits the pavement to find out who the fence is, but Peter doesn’t trust him. So he uses a lunch date that Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) had with Mozzie (Willie Garson) to blackmail Mozzie into giving up a name. Neal and Mozzie are able to recover in time, but Peter is very suspicious.

WC_508_0390

This doesn’t stop them from planning to steal the Mosconi stained glass window for Hagen. Rebecca insists on coming along to be a lookout and Neal agrees. Meanwhile, Peter confides in Elizabeth that he knows Neal is up to something. She wears a purple chemise and eyelet robe. To recreate the look I found this Calvin Klein Essentials Chemise ($42) and this Natori Women’s Shangri La Wrap ($94):

Screen Shot 2014-01-08 at 8.56.09 PM

Peter tracks Neal to the window right after he stole it. Mozzie and Rebecca get away with the window and Neal goes back to try to turn Peter off the trail. Peter can’t wait anymore and confronts Neal about stealing the coins. Peter plays Neal and tells him that Jones caught the fence even though they didn’t have him. Neal finally confesses to stealing the coins and bribing the prosecutor to free Peter. He doesn’t tell him about Hagen or the window. Neal convinces Peter to talk to Elizabeth before he arrests him. If Peter is indicted, then his career is over, even if he turns out to be innocent. Peter worries what it says about him if he ignores the situation.

He talks to Elizabeth and she asks him to make sure he really needs to turn himself in and ruin his career. She wears an olive, military-style blouse. I found this similar Vince Camuto blouse for $39.90:

Screen Shot 2014-01-08 at 9.01.55 PM

Things change when Jones walks in with the real Decker and starts to question him. Peter decides to confront the prosecutor and gives him an ultimatum – either he turn in the coins and resign or Peter will arrest him on the spot. The prosecutor resigns and Peter gets the coins. He tells Neal that this is a compromise that he will never make again. They both agree that things need to change between them.

What do you thing that means? Will Peter find out about Neal’s partnership with Hagen? Will Mozzie and Neal be able to trade the window for Hagen’s evidence on Neal?

White Collar “Digging Deeper” Recap

Peter (Tim DeKay) and Jones (Sharif Atkins) are trying to figure out what Neal  (Matt Bomer) is up to. Jones gives him the benefit of the doubt, but Peter knows he is missing something.

The whole team is trying to figure out what the card in Siegel’s wallet meant, but nobody is having any luck. In the midst of that investigation, Neal and Peter get pulled into a case about a dinosaur egg. They return the missing egg to the lab it was intended for, but the lab worker informs them that there was supposed to be a skeleton of the mother that accompanied it. Now the team is on the case for a missing Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton.

In the meantime, Neal, Mozzie (Willie Garson) and Rebecca (Bridget Regan) are digging deeper into the Mosconi Codex mystery. Mozzie is skeptical of Neal’s relationship with Rebecca – he goes as far as to vet her just in case Neal needs the information.

Peter and team find a lead in their dinosaur case, a Mr. Forsythe (Zjeklo Ivanek), a ruthless businessman with a penchant for collecting dinosaur fossils. Neal sneaks into Forsythe’s office to try to get Peter enough information for a warrant. Unfortunately, the stolen goods that Neal finds in his office have reached the statute of limitations so Peter can’t prosecute for it.

WC_508_0056

Jones does find out that Neal has been spending time with Rebecca from their previous case at the Gershon museum. This intrigues Peter and he decides to crash Neal’s date with Rebecca. He gets Elle (Tiffani Thiessen) to come with him to crash the date at a place she’s always wanted to go to. Elle wears a floral tank top with a white cardigan. This Obey Hanky Panky Camisole Tank Top ($14.99) along with this Kim Rogers Cardigan ($24.99) are similar:

Screen Shot 2014-01-06 at 12.34.33 PM

Peter and Elizabeth crash Neal’s date and makes it really awkward for Neal. Neal covers with Peter by saying that he didn’t know how to tell Rebecca that he was a felon. Elizabeth wears a teal dress with a python clutch. This Tart Patrice Dress ($83.99) and Python clutch ($38.99) would be a great recreation of this look:

Screen Shot 2014-01-06 at 1.22.19 PM

Before anything can get more awkward, Peter and Neal get called away on the dinosaur case as someone is trying to still the dinosaur egg from the museum lab. They capture the thief and find out that Forsythe commissioned him to steal the egg. This doesn’t help them because they still don’t know where the skeleton is. They decide to have Neal and Mozzie forge the egg and try to sell it to Forsythe and catch him in the act. The plan works and they safely return the the skeleton to the museum.

Peter and Elizabeth invite Neal over for dinner to convince him to tell Rebecca the truth about who he is. Elizabeth wears a teal blouse which is similar to the blouse she wore in Ice Breaker. The Spense Trimmed Woven Collar Top ($14.49) from my previous recreation works for this one too:

Screen Shot 2014-01-06 at 1.49.14 PM

Afterwards, Neal enjoys some wine with June on his balcony and admits he stole one of the pieces from Forsythe’s collection because it was there. Rebecca comes over and he finally tells her who he really is. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with that and they sleep together.

The next day Curtis Hagen confronts Neal that he knows Neal was going to steal the Mosconi glass window and that Neal is going to steal it for him instead.

What did you think about this week’s episode? What do you think about Neal’s downfall back to the dark side? Will Peter find out what he is up to?

White Collar “Quantico Closure” Recap

This week on White Collar, Peter (Tim DeKay) celebrates the anniversary of meeting Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) at the same restaurant where they had their first date. The date gets interrupted when his ex, and former classmate at Quantico, Jill Stone (Kim Dickens), shows up. Turns out she hunted Peter down so he could help her out with a case. Elle wears a green scoopneck dress. I found a similar Alex Marie Cole Pleated-Neckline Dress for $129:

In the meantime, Neal (Matt Bomer) gets a little too close to Rebecca (Bridget Regan) as they work to solve the mystery of the Moscone Codex.

Jill visits Peter at the office and fills him in on her current case. She is going undercover for a software deal and needs a partner that is familiar with the New York landscape. He heads home to tell Elizabeth that he will be working with Jill undercover, but she busts in before he gets the chance to, making Elizabeth uncomfortable. Elle wears the Joie Anka V-Neck Blouse ($224.09). I found a similar Lush blouse for $29.99:

Peter gets a lead on Seigel’s missing badge and sends Neal and Jones (Sharif Atkins) out to investigate. The end up getting carjacked by someone using Seigel’s badge, which is their first lead on his murder!

Elle stops by to drop off lunch for Peter, but she sees him getting cozy with Jill and gets jealous and leaves. Mozzie (Willie Garson) convinces Elle to follow Peter and Jill to see what is going on. Elle wears a grey shift dress. I found a similar Jones New York tailored dress for $129:

She convinces Neal to tag along as she investigates Jill and they see them enter a hotel together. Elle follows them inside and Neal convinces her to wait at the bar while he tries to pull a room number. Things get interesting as she runs into Peter and Jill’s mark. She tries to stall him and he ends up hiding his software chip in her cell phone before he runs off.

Jill and Peter get captured by mercenaries before they can make the exchange. Neal and Elle bust into the room and save the day. Elle is cool as a cucumber and I love it!

All’s well that ends well, with Peter finding another lead in Siegel’s case and Neal and Rebecca making a breakthrough with the Moscone Codex. Neal is getting a little too comfortable with Rebecca and I think this will lead to trouble for him.

What did you think about this week’s episode? Do you think Neal’s deal with the Dutchman had anything to do with Siegel’s death? Will Rebecca expose Neal to Peter?

If you missed this week’s episode, you can still watch it online here.
